I recently moved my wordpress site from one hosting server to another. In the process I had both sites active on different domains simultaneously to test one while before I updated the Domain. On the new hosting server Even Espresso is not showing up on the left have of my WordPress admin so I there is not way to manage events. Also the events link from the plugins page goes to a dead page with the message “You do not have access to this route.” I feel like this may have something to do with the support license key because it was active on 2 sites at once. I have removed it from the old version of the site but it is still not valid for the new hosting solution which now has the same domain as I originally registered the key for. Also installed the Event Espresso Requirements check and here are the results: The purpose of this plugin is to identify the most common server configuration issues and identify any potential areas of conflict. Not everything displaying a WARNING is necessarily a cause for alarm. Please read through each alert carefully and contact the Event Espresso support staff or your webhost if you have any questions. Hi there Karen, thanks for provide a great write up on the issue. I think the issue is that some files may not have been transferred during the migration. The reason for this is that you mentioned that you are not seeing Event Espresso in the admin menu. Could you deactivate and delete Event Espresso through WP plugins from your WP dashboard? Then please download a new copy from your Event Espresso account page here: https://eventespresso.com/users/codingfortreasure/ It will be saved to your computer as a zip file. Return to your WP dashboard and upload and activate it through the plugins screen. I’ve also reset your support license key for you. — |

Thanks Lorenzo. Did that (via FTP) and got this fatal error when I attempted to activate the plugin: Warning: require_once(/home/coding4treasure/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/payment_methods/EEI_Payment_Method_Interfaces.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/coding4treasure/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_System.core.php on line 169 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/coding4treasure/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/payment_methods/EEI_Payment_Method_Interfaces.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php54/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php54/usr/share/php’) in /home/coding4treasure/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/EE_System.core.php on line 169 ?????? |

Hold up – FTP file transfer was interrupted…carrying on. |
Hi Karen, Could you try installing the zip through WP plugins? If the SFTP / FTP transfer fails, then you’ll experience strange issues. If that is not available, then please try an alternative client such as Cyberduck. I use Transmit and it notifies me if there are any issues and will allow the files and folders to be transferred again. — |

No dice. Completed the FTP transfer, re-queued files that failed and uploaded all. Still the same situation: The new key has at least resolved the error I was getting related to the key expiring. |
|
By the way, upload of zip via wordpress failed because file is too large. |

I had other add-ons (Mailchimp, calendar) activated as well – should I delete and reinstall all those as well? |
Hi Karen, Are you able to access the following URL through your WP user login: http://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset Please change example.com to your actual web domain. If so, go ahead and click on Event Espresso Capabilities button. — |

when I changed example.com to codingfortreasure.com I got the same message: “You do not have access to this route.” |
Hi Karen, Could you follow up with us here? https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ Also, are there any restrictions on the site? I noticed that you mentioned that you re-installed through FTP instead of the WP dashboard. — |
