Every time I update my event, the “Submit Promotion Code” button, changes to “submit” and then as you told me that go to promotion>setting, and save. I do that and it works fine again. It happens every time though! How can I correct that?

Hi there,
Currently you can not prevent this from happening yourself, however we do have a ticket to prevent this from happening.
Once that ticket has been fully tested and it has been confirmed that it fixes the problem it will be included within the next version of Event Espresso.

We found a fix and the fix is included in the latest releases of Event Espresso 4 core and the Promotions add-on. You can update to Event Espresso 4.9.2 and/or Promotions 1.0.7 to get the fix.

I am still having this problem – I update to the new event esprosso version as well but it is still there?

We can investigate this further. What are the version numbers for Event Espresso and the Promotions add-on?
You can find that information within your WP Plugins screen.

I’m sorry there’s not much we can do about this. We’ve re-opened the ticket to fix the issue where the promotions config gets reset unintentionally.
