With me it is EE4.4.2 that is breaking the site.

Have to go back to previous versions to make wordpress work at all.

Hi Stuart,

I’ve split your reply into another thread so that is easier to troubleshoot separately.

When you enabled EE4.4.2 is there an error message shown? We’ll need this to help narrow down the issue.

If no error is shown only a whitescreen then you’ll need to enable WP_Debug on the site.

OK as soon as I activate the plug from EE4.4.4 onwards this is what I get.

Apologies that should be EE4.4.2

Hi Stuart,

The permissions on your server are likely locked down so EE can’t access its own files. If possible, please send FTP and WordPress admin level log in credentials via the contact form on this page:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

We have a fix we can apply.

Hi There

I can’t really do this as the site goes down completely.

Hi Stuart,

Can you access the server’s files from your host’s control panel? If so, can you send those credentials (or FTP) via our secure form?

sorry I’m not sure where the secure form is- can you delete these from public viewing?

Hi Stuart,

The secure form is available using the link Josh provided:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

I have removed the details from view. As this is a public forum, I would recommend against providing login details within the threads and only use the form above.

I will upload the modified version of EE4 to your server now.

Hi Stuart,

I have uploaded the latest version of EE4 to your site which includes fixes for this issue.

If you go to your plugins page you’ll now find 3 versions of Event Espresso, the version I uploaded is version 4.4.3.p so activate that one and see if any errors are thrown.

I left the remaining 2 versions within your install in-case you needed them for any reason, if not, I would recommended deleting them from the plugins menu.
