was gonna ask the same thing, paypal and paypal express both redirect to blank page, free ticket works as expected |
Can you try deactivating, the removing the version of Event Espresso 4 core and replace with this version? |
It’s actually a bigger problem than I thought. All of our EE transaction pages are currently not functioning. I’m not entirely comfortable removing the EE4 core. Can I simply deactivate and load the new version? We have a really busy website and have lost a lot of sales in last 24 hours so I need to fix this tonight. |
If you simply deactivate EE and load the new version, you’ll then have two copies of Event Espresso 4 on your site. At some point you’ll need to remove one of them. Since the last reply on this topic, there’s been an update released for EE4 that contains the same fix that’s in the above linked Master branch. So now that that’s released, you can go to your WordPress dashboard, then Event Espresso > General Settings, then save the settings page. Then you go to WordPress > Plugins and you’ll see an update notification. |
Hmmmm, it doesn’t appear to have fixed it for me. |
You’ll need to make sure you clear your browser’s cache after the update. Is there still a blank page after returning from the payment gateway? If so, can you post a link to that blank page? |
I can’t actually get past this page: https://www.thegoodlifecentre.co.uk/registration-checkout/ |
Still waiting for the update to show up in my WP Dashboard… will let you know once the new version is installed. |
@mpurse, it looks like the critical page settings on your website need to be fixed. Can you go to Event Espresso > General Settings > Critical pages and fix then update? If not, you can complete the secure forum on this page and EE staff will.
There doesn’t seem to be anything to update. I’ve got Page Status OK and Shortcode OK messages on all. I clicked save anything but no change. |
That main registration page needs to be fixed and someone from EE staff can fix that page if you can complete the secure form on this page. |
OK, doing it now. Thank you! |
OK so there were two registration checkout pages (the second one had registration-checkout-2 as its page slug). I trashed the second one and made sure that the original one was pointed to in the settings. The registration form appears now as expected. |
Excellent. Thanks! |

The update did it, seems to be working now, thanks! |
