I would like to send a follow-up email to my registrants requesting a Google review after they attend my event. I’ve seen other questions about this that say the only way to do this is manually through a batch email. Is that still true? If it is, I’m having two problems:
1. When I view the registrations and try and sort by the Event Date, it isn’t sorting correctly. You can see the default sort by TXN date shows an event date at the top of September 23, 2020, https://www.screencast.com/t/fB9bkCLb3, but when I sort by the Event Date column the first event date listed is June 18, 2020 https://www.screencast.com/t/33D7pKWHzsie.
2. I want to easily find a list of all of the people that attended a specific class so that I can batch email them, but when I go to the specific event and click on Registrations, the column for the event date is not visible.

What is the best way to get a list of all of the people who attended a specific event so that I can email them a follow-up?

Thanks,
Fran

Hi Fran,

I would like to send a follow-up email to my registrants requesting a Google review after they attend my event. I’ve seen other questions about this that say the only way to do this is manually through a batch email. Is that still true?

Currently yes, but may I ask how your events are set up?

Do you have a multiple datetimes within each event?

I had a quick look over your events and it appears as though you do, so you using a single event with multiple datetimes and just continue to add more datetimes/tickets to that event? Is that correct?

If you are using the same event with multiple datetimes then filtered can become a little tricky as you’ve found. I can check into this but I’ll need some details on how that event is set up so I can try and reproduce.

2. I want to easily find a list of all of the people that attended a specific class so that I can batch email them, but when I go to the specific event and click on Registrations, the column for the event date is not visible.

Is a ‘specific class’ all of the people that attended a specific datetime within the event? If so it is possible to filter down to specific datetimes and there are a few ways to do so.

One is to edit the event in question and click on the icon next to the specific datetime you want to view registrations for, this:

https://monosnap.com/file/KlARQntk8WgTpCZk3jqND8byvyxfgl

EE will then load a list of registrations specifically for that datetime.

Hi Tony,
Yes, I have one event with multiple datetimes for each class. This is because the event is exactly the same event, just repeated monthly.

I was able to find the list of registrants for a specific datetime of an event, but it also included the Abandoned registrations. When I tried to filter by Approved registrations for that datetime, it went back to the full list of Registrants, not filtered by that datetime. I can download the CSV and pull out the Abandoned ones, but it’s just a lot of steps.

Any help you can give me streamlining this process would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Fran
