Hello,
We want to send out SMS notifications to event registrants and we are using the add-on https://themebound.com/shop/event-espresso-sms-reminder-plugin/ for that. I am able to test this plugin by sending a test SMS which worked perfectly fine. However, I am still not able to integrate the phone number field on the event registration form to this plugin.If I navigate to WordPress dashboard > WPSMS > Event Espresso, there is a dropdown called “Mobile Number Question”.I do not have any value to select from that dropdown. Do you have any thoughts on what I might be missing here?

Hi there,
As the above isn’t one of our add-on we don’t actually provide support for it.
Having said that, if I knew anything about the above add-on I would try to answer your question as best I could (along with giving a disclaimer that it’s not official support from ourselves). However, I’ve not installed or seen any of how that plugin works, so I can’t do that in this case.
If you can send me a copy of the plugin I’ll happily take a quick look and see if anything stands out but you will likely need to contact the author of the add-on for support on this.

For sure!
So, initially I was trying to map the default phone number field that came with Event Espresso but that did not work. I then went ahead and created a new phone number field which did the trick.

Oh! Yeah, I wouldn’t expect that to be honest as EE’s built-in phone number field would likely be the best choice here… however, as mentioned it’s not an add-on I’ve had any part in creating 🙂
Anyway, thank you for the details and I’m glad you worked it out.
