Hi there,

So you created a custom question within Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Questions?

Did you add that question to a ‘Question Group’ and then enable that group on the event?

If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical pages

What page do you have set for the ‘Registration Checkout’ page?

Can you add a screenshot of that section here?

Thank you, there was a page set that was already in use. I have created a new page with shortcode [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT]. Now it all works. Please note that the checkout page may not be placed near a main page.

Please note that the checkout page may not be placed near a main page.

I’m sorry, but I’m not sure what this means, can you provide more details?

If you have ;
http://www.yourwebsite.com/checkoutpage , it works

If you have ;
http://www.yourwebsite.com/events/checkoutpage , it won’t work

That’s true for /events/ because /events/ is the slug for EE events, meaning with:

http://www.yourwebsite.com/events/checkoutpage

You actually telling WP to look for the post with the title ‘checkoutpage’ on posts using the slug ‘events’, so in other words an EE event with the slug ‘checkoutpage’.

You can set the checkout page to be a child of any other page other than ‘events’ (or whatever page you have with the same slug as the EE events)
