Hello. I searched through the forums and didn’t see anything about this. My apologies if it has already been addressed and I missed it.
When there is an event purchase and the customer is taken to the order confirmation / invoice screen, the actual shortcode is being displayed. [DTT_NAME] is showing as well as the shortcode for the event registration. Unfortunately, I accidentally closed the customer event confirmation page and cannot remember the exact shortcode for the event registration.
How do I get the shortcodes to work and not show the actual shortcode? I do not want [DTT_NAME] and the shortcode for registration being visible.
Can you let me know the full version number of Event Espresso 4 you are running please, you will find this within your plugins list or it should also be at the bottom of the admin.
Those shortcodes are referencing information that can be edited through the event editor in the regular version of Event Espresso 4. They are not available in Event Espresso 4 decaf.
You can remove them through Event Espresso –> Messages –> Receipt and then click on Purchaser.
Scroll down to the Datetime_List area and then remove these shortcodes and save changes:
[DTT_NAME]
[DTT_DESCRIPTION]
