Short Code not working on a template the client directed us to use. I have contacted the template designer and have not heard back but would like to know if you have any ideas on how to get your short code working. http://www.jacksjocks.com “Register” page not working but if I access page directly at http://www.jacksjocks.com/event-registration it does. Unforunately, no menu available since designer used single in&out sliding page as the basis for his template design. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Template is “Jumpy” off of themeforest.net

Just purchased a developers license…not a good way to start off but do realize its a template issue.

Hi Russ,

Welcome to Event Espresso.

OK, first off, the shortcode [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] should only be on one page, the designated “main page” in the Espresso General Settings.

The default main page is event-registration. If you want to use a list elsewhere, for example to filter the list, you can use the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode, and if need be hide the mainpage from the navigation (its required so please make sure it is not deleted/password-protected/etc).

Personally I tend to use [EVENT _LIST] straight away and hide the “main page” as the [EVENT _LIST] is very flexible and can be used multiple times, even on the same page.

That aside, there are no obvious jquery errors, which is good.

Are other shortcodes working fine on these pages?
