Hi, can you tell me how I can setup the integration between EE4 and MailChimp to send over the attendee address and zip code? I have been using it with other questions/answers being sent to mailChimp without issue for a long time but I am not sure how to send address details.
Also, as a side is it on your development plan to add support for ActiveCampaign.
I’m not sure if I fully understand. But this is what I have done.
1. I saw you mentioned that the merge fields are sent as per: http://take.ms/v7W9P
2. As per the link I then setup 4 x merge fields of type text in MailChimp
3. The merge fields were named ADDRESS | CITY | COUNTRY | ZIP
4. I noticed on the EE event these are now shown in “List Fields” on the MailChimp List configuration on the EE Event.
5. I left them populated as “NONE” as there is no relevant question I could choose for the address details.
6. I made a new registration through our website for the event.
7. I looked at the newly created contact on MailChimp and none of the address fields were populated.
I suspect it has something todo with point 5. How do I choose that EE address fields that need to be sent to the appropriate MERGE values in the MailChimp List?
Yes, its point 5, if you don’t select a field to send over to MailChimp, then the MailChimp add-n doesn’t send info over for that field.
The merge fields use the events current questions, you’ve mentioned there’s no relevant address fields on the registration form which means you don’t have the ‘Address Information’ question group selected on that event, so how/where do you have the address info as it stands?
