Version EE4. New installation, not yet live, as a lot of customisation has been required.

I would like to know if there is any way to send an email message to an email address collected through the questions? We have the scenario where the Business is registering participants for events and the emails need to go to the Business email – not the first registrant. I have created a list of Business Questions to collect this data – as obviously the Business is not a participant.

I have tried the sort code as you described here:

however, this shortcode is not allowed in the ‘To’ field or the body to change the welcome name in the message system.

Can you please advise how I can make this allowable?
