Security Error 10002

Hi, I am been unable to perform a successful link to paypal with paypal express using Event Espresso.

Error Code: 10002 was seen under the transaction logging

Please advise. I have tried retyping and repasting my paypal API information but I keep getting this error

Hi there,

PayPal’s documentation for their error code 10002 states: “This error can be caused by an incorrect API username, an incorrect API password, or an invalid API signature. You can make sure that all three of these values are correct. For your security, PayPal does not report exactly which of these three values might be in error.”

Also, PayPal has different types of API credentials. You need to use the ones that work with PayPal Express. You can locate your PayPal Express API credentials by following the steps in the documentation:
