“There are currently 4 items in the Event Cart” >
View Cart >
The Event Cart is empty
Users can not register.

Review this event:
https://www.buckinstitute.org/events/live-better-longer-a-celebration-of-30-years-in-aging-research/

Add to cart. And try to register.

WPE host.
ALL CACHING is disabled.
Worked on stage.
Migrated to production.
Does not work.

Disabled/re-activated all EE plugins.
Cleared object and page caches then disabled them.
Recreated the events as new events.

No joy.

Please advise

Hi,

I checked the http headers for your checkout page it they include headers that say the page is cached:

With WPEngine what you can do is contact WPEngine support and ask them to apply “do not cache” exclusion rules to specific pages. They can apply those to your checkout and thank-you pages.

From WPEngine’s documentation:

If there are other pages which require a cache exclusion please contact our Support team through your User Portal using our 24/7 Live Chat feature.

I checked the headers on the event-checkout page and the x-cache value is null.

How are you checking?

I am on hold with WPE support right now regardless to request DNC on these pages.

I use Firefox’s inspector to check the http headers.

Ya odd I was getting mixed results. That said, setting DNC to those pages appears to have fixed the issue. Thanks for the helpful direction.
