What is the current estimate for when a Roles and Permissions add-on will be available for EE4?

Hi, we don’t currently provide launch dates but there are some ways to restrict a user so that they can only access certain areas of Event Espresso 4.

Thanks for such a quick response.
The solution at https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-paired-down-admin/#post-118343 worked almost perfectly.
Ideally I’d like to allow EE4 access to a user without the capability to manage_options. Is this possible? Will this be possible under EE4.5?
Without asking for an exact launch date, would it be reasonable to assume that EE4.5 will be available shortly?

This add-on is in development and should be available shortly after EE 4.5 is released (current ETA is November/December 2014).”

Not currently possible, it will be available in 4.5.

We are trying our hardest to get it ready for formal release! Both 4.5 and the Ticketing add on are currently available in Beta (Pre Release) where they can be downloaded to test: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/
