Hi, I have a question how to setup this : thanx for your help. |
Hi Roman, While we do not have a built in way to handle these, one thing you might consider using is the Social Coupon add-ons which let people pay for classes using voucher codes. So it work like this: 1) They buy a membership and with that they get a bunch of voucher codes. With the cancellation fees, Event Espresso doesn’t really have a feature that automatically charges a fee when someone cancels. |

Hi, thanx for the answer and tip 🙂 it should work. Just to be sure : Just idea : will be possible to do it like this : event (class) is public but just members can do a resarvation. So if somebody wants to reserv a clas, he (she) have to register on the web site (or at the reception) and after will be possible to do a reservations? with the fees for cancelation, no problem that is not automatic (but maybe idea for you how to develop EE). I just start with this an I thing is really good system. |
Hi Roman, The number of codes could get into the 1000’s quickly, so your idea of making classes available to register for members only is a good one. It’s possible to set an event as member only within the event editor. It’s also possible to set all the events to member only with one click in the Event Espresso>Member settings. This requires installing the WP user integration add-on if you have not already done so. The only thing that the Members/WP user integration add-on does not do is limit the number of registrations in a pre-paid membership case so someone could potentially sign up for more classes than they pre-paid for. |
