I had previously installed Event Espresso Lite on a page that I am building for a gymnastics organization. The client will use this plugin to register students for ongoing gymnastics classes. I decided to upgrade and purchased EE4. It’s different from the lite version and had multiple mentions of ‘tickets’

I would like to change titles like “Available Tickets” “Ticket Details” etc to “Registration Information”. “Ticket Sales Dates” needs to be changed to “Registration Dates”

How do I make these changes to the event pages?

Hi David,

We recommend making changes to text via a translation. This can be done with POEdit, a plugin, or a custom function. There are step by step instructions that use these options in our documentation:

Perfect, that worked thanks!

One more question, on the registration page, is there a way to disable the show/hide details functionality? I’d like to keep all of that information hidden, as I want the layout to be as simple as possible.

And I’d also possible like to remove the dates/times/add to ical right below that. Is that possible?

Thanks again! Loving this plugin so far!

I found this article: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/hide-certain-elements-event-espresso-pages-using-css/

I copied the CSS to hide the meta data as well as Event Details from the event list page, but neither seem to work. I used the Simple Custom CSS plugin to do this.

You can see that both elements are still there:

Hi David,

Those examples are for the themes that are specified in the tutorial.

Try this instead:

.single-espresso_events .entry-comments, .single-espresso_events .entry-date {display:none}
