Hi,

I want to provide a feature to the end user so that he can download the excel/csv report of registrations from his dashboard (With minimum possible information sufficient enough to manually verify the tickets & total sale information) for his event.

What is the best way to integrate/achieve this feature?

Thanks Lorenzo.

I am aware of this option but this options is available only to the admins of the website.

In my website, User (Not Admin) lands to his dashboard after login & from there he can create an event. My question is: how can i provide my user an option to download the “Registration Sheet” through a link or button for his event when he is not an admin & can’t access the admin area. He has access to only his dashboard & i want to add a feature so that he can download the registration sheet for his event.

What is the best way to integrate this feature?

Thanks.
Atharveda

Hi there Atharveda,

The capabilities system for Event Espresso 4 can help with creating a restricted role for login:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/event-espresso-4-roles-permissions/

This Google sheet has the various capabilities:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Al0RhqTD8pDfdEhtcFhLdW9rTFdPOWtrODh3d1QyN1E&usp=sharing

Here is an example:

Lets say you wanted a specific user with a specific role (e.g. author) to be able to create and edit their own events. These capabilities would be needed and you could use a free plugin like Members from Justin Tadlock to add the capabilities:

ee_read_event
ee_read_private_events
ee_read_events
ee_edit_event
ee_edit_published_events
ee_edit_private_events
ee_edit_events

They would not be able to edit other events because they do not have access to the following:

ee_edit_others_events

If you wanted to grant the user access to editing events that they have not created, then the above capability would be needed as well.

And if you wanted to grant access to their own registrations, then these capabilities could be enabled as well:

ee_read_registration
ee_read_registrations
ee_edit_registration
ee_edit_registrations
ee_delete_registration
ee_delete_registrations
