Dear Support, we have 100-200 cases of registrations for one event with same Email Adress for 2 or 3 people. In these cases earlier registrations and tickets will be replaces with new ones. So that another person has now a ticket and the former registration for another person is no more in place. So that all 2 or 3 registrations are in place for the same person who registered at last. How can we solve it? Please help. Best Regards, |
Hi Alex,
Are the registrations are being replaced or updated to link to the new user details? Do you have the WP User integration add-on enabled and are the users logging into the site to register for tickets? |

The links which are used in earlier emails sent to a registered user for event were replaced by other ones with tickets of new registrants with same email address. We enabled following Plugin: Event Espresso – WP Users (EE4.6+) Best Regards, |
|
Users login via WP Members plugin to the site. |
You’ve just enabled or it was already enabled?
Are all user already logged into the site when registering on an event? |
|
|
This plugin was already enabled but not from the beginning of using EE. |
Hmm, ok. Can you create an account I can use to run a couple of test registrations on an event? (A test event is fine, I just need to know how to reproduce the problem) |

|
Sure. You may use our 2 test users – one for contributors and one for subscribers. How may I send you the test users credentials? Best Regards, |
You can use this form: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ |

Ok, so just to confirm I understand this correctly. You have specific users that log into the site and register onto various events for various different people, correct? The problem is that when one of these users registers onto an event, the previous registrations made by that user show as the ‘latest’ registrants details. The links in previous emails still work for the specific event they are for, but the details now show the wrong attendee details (because they now show the ‘latest’ registrant)? If the above is correct it is happening because of the WP User Integration add-on and is actually expected behavior. One of the features of that add-on is to keep your registrations in sync with your user account, so if you register onto an event whilst logged in EE uses your user account details for the registration form, if you change those it updates the details on your account and your EE Attendee to keep everything in sync. This can be disabled (for registrations made from now on) by changing the setting: Event Espresso -> Registration form -> User Integration Settings -> Always sync contact information with WP user profile Set that to No and update. The downside to doing this is registration made that do no match the users account details will not show up in the users ‘My Events’ section. |
