I’m testing registrations with a few others in my group and we are getting the following error message-
An error has occurred. A valid transaction could not be initiated for processing this registration- EE_spco_reg_step_attendee_information – process_reg_step – 600
If you are not using a caching plugin, then try re-testing with only Event Espresso running. If it works, then restore your site a few plugins at a time and retest. Continue these steps until you locate the cause of the conflict.
I did as you instructed. Put all the slugs in the WP Super Cache “don’t cache” section. Still unable to register. Had to update to beta 4.8 to use the promotions code addon. Every step of the registration I get an error box that says I need to refresh page.
Hi Jeff, the pre-release is not recommended for a live site / live projects. We are actively fixing and testing bugs and there is a chance that you’ll run into unexpected behavior.
Does the issue continue when caching is turned off and all other plugins are deactivated?
Dang. Isn’t there any way I can get the Promotion addon to work with a stable version? Really want to use that and spent $279 for functionality like that. Getting a little frustrated with EE. Do I have a 30 day window to get my money back if I can’t get this to work without hours in support?
Hi Jeff, the promotions add-on is compatible with Event Espresso 4.8 which is in beta. Both are part of the pre-release channel. The promotions add-on is not compatible with earlier versions of Event Espresso 4.
