We have some attendees who register and then call through at a later time to pay over the phone. Previously I had gone into Messages, found their Registration Pending Payment message and click the link for “click here to view your registration, download your invoice and make a payment”. I am trying to this for a particular registrant but I’m getting an error Is there another way to put a credit card payment through on behalf of a registrant? |
Hi, The error is likely related to a session issue where the original transaction was overwritten by another transaction because the session did not clear. Here’s how to avoid the error by 1) ensuring the session is cleared between adding transactions and 2) using another link to put in a credit card payment: 1) You go to yoursite.net.au/registration-cancelled/ to make sure the session is cleared |

Hi Josh, Thank you for the reply. I’m not sure what you mean by ensuring the session is cleared. We are not adding the registration ourselves through EE4, the attendee is doing this via the front end, choosing their ticket etc. They then select Invoice as the payment type as they generally part of a school which in AUS requires an invoice first. We are then having the school ring us to pay over the phone by a credit card. |
Oh I see, I’m sorry, I misread what you wrote. So this type of error, where their registration is lost, happens when there’s caching. I checked your site and I can see that W3 Total Cache is activated. W3 Total Cache must be configured correctly to avoid errors like this.
