I don’t want to have any tickets at all, free or fee. I just want to display the registration form directly on the event page for guests to register. I am only hosting one event at a time right now, so I would like to feature whichever event is active on my events page and display the entire description of that event, including the registration form. How can this be done?
Hi Tony, this did not work. Is there a way to allow registration directly on the event page without tickets and without “proceed to payment?” This was done in older versions of Event Espresso.
Apologies for the delay, once a thread is marked resolved it is move down our proirity list so this post slipped through.
Currently there is no way to remove the ticket selector from EE4.
Are you look to only allow single registrations? You can not include the Registration form directly however you could set the ‘Max ticket per order’ to 1 – http://take.ms/esII2
This will save the user selecting a ticket quantity and set the selector to assign 1 ticket.
We currently have an open ticket to skip the Payment options for free events which will be included within a future version of EE4. However @Josh provided a plugin to remove all mention of ‘Payments’ from the checkout page – https://github.com/joshfeck/scaling-octo-no-pay
A little update on this: Event Espresso 4.6’s registration removes the payment step if the selected tickets are free. Here’s a screenshot that shows how it looks like now along with the new reCAPTCHA:
If you happened to use the little scaling-octo-no-pay plugin, you can remove it from your site when you update to Event Espresso 4.6.
