Ok, thanks as always for the quick responses…. We have EE4 with Mijireh to EPDQ Barclays here in the UK. On certain events, the registration notification emails are bypassing our default Admin email and going to other Admin users, myself included… I have rooted around the email code to see where there might be a routing error to no avail. One event in particilar always sens an email to one of the other admins on the WP site. I am baffled…. any ideas? |
By default EE4 will send the admin emails to the event author (the email address of the user account that created the event) Would you like all event admin emails to go to a single specific email address? (The one set within General Settings?) |

Yes, need all emails to go to our admin.. thanks for the fast response! Shivan |

I meant our Main Admin Email Address. Thanks! |
You’ll need to go to Event Espresso -> Messages. Within that list you’ll find multiple message types, each can have multiple contexts. You’ll need to edit all of the Event Admin contexts to use the [CO_EMAIL] shortcode within the to field. Its any message that has the Event Admin context enabled (the link will be blue) – http://take.ms/rzmUu Make the change on each message type and save (be sure you are editing the Event Admin and not Registrant context or your users will not receive any emails at all. Does that help? |

Great, have made the changes, will do some tests tomorrow and see what happens, thanks again! |

Made the change and did a test sale… nothing came through our Admin email… I saw the context: [SITE_ADMIN_EMAIL], would this work also? Shivan |
Hi Shivan, Could you double-check to see if the notification arrived into your spam / junk mail folder? If it did then I recommend setting up a transactional email service like SendGrid or Postmark app: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ To answer your question, the shortcode [SITE_ADMIN_EMAIL] is the email address that is set in the general settings page of your WordPress site. — |

Thanks Lorenzo, it did arrive. Our admin email (the one I want to send the Registration and Transaction messages to) is the general email address for General Settings in WP |
Hi, you can use this shortcode instead for the event admin recipient: [SITE_ADMIN_EMAIL] Be sure to save changes afterwards. Here is a quick video so you understand where to make the changes for the Registration approved message type: http://cl.ly/1l3k2h0x1q0H/Screen%20Recording%202016-02-08%20at%2007.41%20PM.mov You’ll then want to update the shortcode for the payment received message type as well for the event admin. — |
