Ok, thanks. I don’t really understand your response but I kind of understand the post you’ve linked to. I’ve never updated my theme so I guess it might have the old code. I’ll see what I can do to get it updated.
I thought I got rid of those automatic WordPress updates. Must do that.
I would advise against disabling updates, be that on WordPress or plugins/themes.
The updates are released as new bugs/issues are released, if you don’t update and a security issue is found within WP or a plugin you leave your site wide open.
The theme author likely released an updated version that is compatible with the current version of WordPress.
