Hi I have no idea why this isn’t working. I had no issues with the registration form when I used it on my other site. Something must be different.
When I complete the registration form
An error has occurred:
First Name is a required field.
I HAVE been completing the First name field (which I renamed Attendee First Name). I’m not sure why it’s not accepting it.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi there,
Your site is throwing this error:
Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[href^=#]
which is causing the problem with the EE validation script and throwing the first name error.
Its being thrown fro within your themes custom.js file – http://take.ms/0V9ry
However there may be more than that when you fix the above, take a look here for additional information:

Ok, thanks. I don’t really understand your response but I kind of understand the post you’ve linked to. I’ve never updated my theme so I guess it might have the old code. I’ll see what I can do to get it updated.
I thought I got rid of those automatic WordPress updates. Must do that.

I would advise against disabling updates, be that on WordPress or plugins/themes.
The updates are released as new bugs/issues are released, if you don’t update and a security issue is found within WP or a plugin you leave your site wide open.

Ok, for the record, updating to the latest version of my theme has helped fixed this problem.
(Took me a while to remember where I got the theme originally, get my login back, get a new version download…lol).

The theme author likely released an updated version that is compatible with the current version of WordPress.
