This has been happening off-an-on for a long time. It’s normally so infrequent (maybe 1 out of 100 registrations) that we just deal directly with our clients who have trouble registering, but now it’s happening more frequently (1 per 25-50 registrations). Very frustrating for them and us because we have a long registration form with a lot of required fields and losing the information might mean an additional 15-20 minutes, etc.
I’ve only been able to reproduce it a couple of times . . . most recently it returned a “First Name is a Required Field” error (or something like), then blanked out the page.
I’ve had our developers look at it–they’ve changed the behavior of some errors, but it has had little effect.
Here’s what happens in the words of one of our customers:
Davis and I tried to register this morning. I am not sure if it took our registration or not. It just kept going back to a blank form. Davis and I do not have current passports, which we have sent off for, but not received yet. I am not sure if that is the reason that I am having a problem. Please let me know if there is someone I need to call to deal with this.
