Hello, I have been setting the events up and testing them. I am not getting the confirmation emails to my personal email. In addition I have installed the printable tickets add on and I am also not seeing the configuration for this. We are on version 4 and I just purchased and installed Friday of last week. I should be the most current on everything |
Hi there,
May I ask in which context, the event admin or as the registrant? If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Message activity, can you see the emails listed there?
What would you like to configure? The tickets use the messaging system, so you can edit the template by navigating to: Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Ticket. |

Hello, We are not receiving emails as admin nor as attendee. I found the messages template for tickets – there were 2 pages and I didn’t initially see that. Thanks! |

please help we need to get this event live |
If you go to test an email from one of the email Message template editors, do you receive the test? If so, it may help to go to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request. If not, can you verify whether *other* emails (like a WordPress password reset email) get sent from your site? In most cases, setting up a third party service to deliver email will resolve email delivery issues. The built-in mail servers (especially those that are used for shared hosting accounts) can be unreliable. We recommend using a service like Mandrill, Postmark, or any of the other services listed in our documentation for sending transactional email. More info here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/ Alternatively, you could also use a gmail account and configure a plugin like the WP Mail SMTP plugin to send the emails. |

I have postmark set up and get emails from it but still not getting ticket emails. Emails are sent when you pay by invoice – correct? |
Ticket Notice emails do not send if they pay by invoice, by default. If you change the Default Registration Status for the event to “Approved”, then the ticket notice will send. Please note they’ll need to select the option to pay by invoice, then click the button to finalize the registration. |
