Hello,
I have send registration emails turned to off, but it still sends registration emails to registrants before they pay. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Hi,

Are you running the latest software:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/change-log/

What is the messaging that is shown in the notification emails?

Hey Lorenzo,
I am running 3.1.36.1.P The message that is sent is the one that is set up in the registration contact form, **this is an automated response** message.

Hi Ritchard,

Where have you set the registration emails to off?

Is it within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Email Settings -> ‘Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received?’ ?

Fancy headers basically just change the email ‘From’ name from WordPress to your company name.

Can you post the Full email content here please?

Both the confirmation and Registrations confirmation emails contain the phrase:
***This Is An Automated Response***

I have just ran a quick test on one of your events, stopping at that FirstData payment and have not received a confirmation email which from your settings would be correct. Do you get different results?

Hey Tony,
Let me clarify, I am adding attendees to an event from the backend, by clicking on the event, clicking attendees, add attendee..etc. I just tried one with your email address so you can see it. I know its happening specifically on the “membership” event registrations, which are reccuring events. I’d be glad to provide you with admin login if that would help.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Ritchard,

The add new attendee feature through the WordPress dashboard will send an email notification.

For a workaround, you could try our Attendee importer tool:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/attendee-batch-import-tool/

You’ll need to join the Prerelease channel before it will be available in your Event Espresso account page.

Ok cool deal, if I upgrade to EE4 would it change? Right now to workaround I have been just manually registering from the front end.

Hi Ritchard,

That is one option but some addons for EE3 are not available for Event Espresso 4. Please take a look at this page before updating:
