Registration Details Email not sending to admin

When a student signs up for a course via Event Espresso, the Registration Details email is not sending to the primary contact email that is set in the General Settings. Instead, it’s sending to the Instructor of the course who is set as the “author” of the Event. Why is the email not sending to the primary contact email like it says it will?

Hi there,

Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates -> Registration Approved -> Edit Event Admin.

Does the ‘To’ field show [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL]?

If so change that to [CO_EMAIL] to use the primary contact email.

That change will need to be done on any message type that has an Event Admin context to send all message types to that email address.

Thank you! This was set for our custom Registration Approved emails somehow.
