Hi EE,

After the last update from WP the calendars for Registration Dates and Event Dates pop ups are not appearing any more. What can I do to solve this problem? Please advice. Thank you

Hi there,

I can’t find an active calendar on your site. Can you link me to the calendar page, please?

Oh, do you mean the date pickers in the event editor?

If so, can you open up Chrome dev tools (or similar) on the editor and check the ‘Console’ section for any errors?

I run 5.5 on a few EE3 sites and don’t have any issues with the datepickers so it’s likely a conflict with a plugin/theme. If there are any JS errors being thrown it will prevent any additional JS from running (like the datepickers in EE)

Hi there,

My apologies, your 2 prior replies were flagged as spam so I hadn’t seen those.

It sounds like something on your site isn’t ready for WP5.5 and is throwing a JS error, which then prevents EE’s JavaScript from running on the page. The error posted doesn’t really help identify what that is.

First, try installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/

Just go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new.

In the search put enable-jquery-migrate-helper, then install and activate that plugin.

Does the editor work then?

Currently, there is nothing you need to do.

That plugin is doing what it needs to do to allow the code on your site to function.
