I had a registrant who had 4 failed payments, and then a fifth payment was successful. The registration approved email never sent. I had to select yes under send messages to trigger it to send a message. Any idea why it didn’t send the event admin or the registrant email when the payment was successful?
Can you check the Messages Activity List table (In Event Espresso > Messages) to see if any messages were generated after the moment the payment was accepted?
I checked there. There were 4 payment failed messages to the registrant, then there was a payment successful to both registrant and event admin. There was no message generated for registration approved.
One idea why that could have happened is if the site is on Event Espresso 4.9.57.p or lower, messages settings are set to send on a separate request, and the server ran garbage collection just after the fourth and successful payment, then the registration approved message would not be sent.
In Event Espresso 4.9.58.p they removed the usage of WordPress transients for the message locks, so if your site is updated to 4.9.58.p that should not longer happen.
