Registrants not receiving Tickets

Hi Event Espresso,

Have way too many people with all different email services who are not receiving their tickets or receipts. Some receive a confirmation but no tickets. Resending to the confirmed email is also not working.

We are early so only a few hundred tickets have been sold but I’m very concerned as we get closer to the event and ticket sales go up that I won’t be able to keep up with the number not receiving.

Hi Deborah,

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> message activity, can you see the ticket emails showing there?

If so do that have a green status bar on the left?

Ok I think I have narrowed the problem to aol emails. It seems for the most part it’s people with aol who don’t receive the tickets. Do you know how I can fix that?

EE itself doesn’t differentiate between any domains, it just builds the email and passes it over to your server to do whatever it is set up to do with the email which means the problem will be further downstream from EE (ie.. your server/mail server).

For email deliverability issues we recommend switching to a transactional email service, we have some details here:
