Register page only works when logged in to WP

If i’m not logged in as admin on my site, when I click the “Register” button on an event it takes me to a plain-text register page with no submit button. If I’m logged in, it works perfectly – the form shows within my theme, and I can complete the registration process. How can I solve this problem?

Hi Wendie,

Without seeing your site, I can’t say for sure, but I’m 99% certain it’s the reCAPTCHA.

If the reCAPTCHA is turned on in the General Settings, but no API key has been added, it will cause those issues (reCAPTCHA isn’t used when a person is logged in which is why it only affects logged out users).

To resolve:

1) Add an API key, available for free from https://www.google.com/recaptcha

2) Disable the reCAPTCHA
