Hey Guys – is it possible to set up redirection after a user completes registration for an event – like back to the home page, or an event details page?

Hi Matt,
Are you needing to provide a registrant/attendee with some specific information like a PDF after registration?
If so, you can upload the document to WP media and then create a custom registration approved email template and include a link to that document:

Hey Lorenzo –
that could be helpful. our events contain a lot of important information so I was wondering if there was a simple way to redirect back to the events archive page after registration so the visitor could be presented with all of the event info etc… or back to the home page etc…

Hello,
There isn’t a redirect after checkout option.
I would consider setting up a custom registration approved email template. There is also the newsletter message (batch message) option on the registrations overview screen which will let you send a one-off message to registrants/attendees for a specific event.
