Number one requested feature by our clients: Say we have a recurring event which will take place on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday every week for a month. On Wednesday and Friday the event starts at 7PM, but on Sunday it starts at 6PM. Plus there’s a matinee on Sunday at 2PM. How would Event Espresso handle this? How many different event posts would I need to create? |

You would create a recurring series for each of the times. So you would create a series that creates events every Wed and Fri at 7pm, then create another series that creates events every Sun at 6pm. Then create another series that creates events every Sun at 2pm. |
Hi Kevin, How are you today? It sounds like you’d need several events or to set the reoccurrence manually. I’d configure the events that occur on a regular basis (same day and time each week). Does that make sense? However, if you use EE4 you can set multiple dates/times (datetimes) per event and each event can have its own capacity limits. Does that make sense? https://eventespresso.com/features/multiple-ticket-pricing-options/ |

Garth, just to clarify: Although I could create multiple date/times for an event, I couldn’t create multiple *recurring* date/times within a single event, correct? In other words, given my initial scenario described above, I would need to create three separate events: 1) Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm, recurring every week for a month Have I got that right? |

When you use the recurring events manager, it creates a new event for each occurrence in the recurring series. So when you create a series for every Sunday for a month, for example, it will create four new events. Those events are linked, as a series, so that you have the option when editing one to apply the changes to all the events in the series. |
