Any idea why my client is getting 7 duplicate Registration Notification emails when someone signs up now? Where should I look to fix this? THank you! |

Multiple Event Registration Details emails are getting sent to client, but the people registering for a class are also getting mulitple emails (one got 7 another got 11) I’m checking to see which those are. More info soon I hope! This is just crazy |

Can you check if the multiple emails still go out if the Multi Event Registration add-on is deactivated? |

I will test. Looks like the emails going to the folks who are signing up for classes are the Event Registration Details email as well as my client. Just that email is sent repeatedly…. |

I disabled the Multi event plugin and am still getting multiple Event Registration Details (as an enrollee) I’m not sure if my client is still getting multiple in her email. What’s next? |

I have also disabled the calendar plugin and we all get about 11 emails confirming the registration. Please help… my client is freaking out. |

I don’t know if this will help but the emails come trickling in. I get maybe 2-3 right after I register and then they just keep trickling in afterwards – sometimes a half hour or more after I register. |

Should I revert to an earlier version of EE to make this stop? |
I don’t think the earlier version of EE will make this stop. This is because the cause may be the part of the webserver that sends the mail (aka the mail server) isn’t getting the confirmation that the email was delivered, so then it sends another copy later. You can contact your host to see if they can troubleshoot the mailserver, or better yet, you can use a transactional email service like PostMarkapp or Mandrill. Within the thread that you linked to, did you end up downgrading to an earlier version, if so which version? Do you know the version number you had before where the emails did not send at all? |

Yes, I downloaded to the one in that link version: 4.8.27 The one I had before was whatever it would have been if I clicked Update Now. Because thats when we started having the problem – right after I updated through the plugins page. I don’t remember what version I had when I wasn’t receiving them, sorry! |
4.8.27.p is the current version, so if that’s the one you have now, then you should be all set. |
