After installing a SSL certificate the Google reCaptcha field stopped displaying on my site. I tried searching the forums to see if anyone else has had the same issue but I have not been able to find a solution. How can I get reCaptcha working with a over https? |
Hi Eric, When you checked the registration form and didn’t see the reCAPTCHA form, were you logged into the site or logged out? |

I checked it in both scenarios, logged in and not logged in and the reCaptcha does not show either way. I also discovered the issue from users visiting my site and while they were trying to register they were not able to since they could not enter the characters for the reCaptcha field. |
Hi Eric, I checked the site that’s connected to your support license and the reCAPTCHA form is working from my end. That said, the W3 total caching plugin is serving up the event-registration and the thank-you pages as cached files. This can break things because Event Espresso’s pages need to be served dynamically. Can you add the event-registration and thank-you pages to W3 total cache plugin’s exclude cache list? There’s a guide that you can follow here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/#w3tc |

I apologize, the site that is having the issue is http://recharge-retreats.com. I have disabled the recaptcha field for now. This is a site that I also manage but the license key is associated with another account (that i have access to). I can create a new support ticket under that account if you need me to. However, I just logged in and noticed that the support key i have for this account is not associated to site as of now (2585f0ff79b9754d23c75addc176b9bf). I then went to enter in the support key in the admin of the site and for some reason I can’t find the field to add it. The current version of EE3 i have installed is 3.1.15.P. Where do I add the license key? I apologize for the confusion but I manage several sites that use EE and I forgot that I manage the recharge-retreats website with a different EE account. |
Hi Eric, Could you email sales with possible usernames and email addresses for your other account and we’ll help you locate that other account? sales [at] eventespresso.com 3.1.15.P is an old version of Event Espresso 3 so once you have that support key, I recommend backing up and upgrading to the current release. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/#update_manually — |

Hi Eric, The reCAPTCHA issue you’re seeing with https was fixed sometime after the 3.1.15.p release. As you can see from your other site that has the current version of EE3, it’s working, and that’s because it has the currently supported version. |

ok thank you, I am updating it now. |
Hi Eric, Please let us know if that fixes the issue. Thanks — |
