1.Purchased new Support License Key, still registering as invalid on WordPress site. Will not allow for EE updates, says “update package not available”. 2.Subscribers on site are not able to purchase tickets in their subscription plan even with the correct subscription levels attributed to their account. |
Hi there, For issue #1, do you have the key that starts with “f78” set in the license key field on the Event Espresso > General Settings page? For issue #2, are you using the WP User integration add-on’s Ticket Capability Requirement feature? If so, may I ask what’s set in the Ticket Capability Requirement field for the tickets? |

Hi Josh, I upgraded to a business license for the add-ons and all seems well on that end for now. |

none for nonmembers* |
Do you know whether they were logged in to the site at the time they were having an issue, and what exactly went wrong that led to them not being able to purchase the ticket? |
They’ve tried multiple browsers on multiple platforms. I do not know why it started happening, it was very recently. I’m hoping the updates helped to resolve the issue. |
Were they logged in or logged out of the site at the time they tried to buy tickets? |
They are logged in. |
Do you know the exact error or message they see when they try to get the ticket that they’re supposed to be able to get? |
There’s no message, it only offers them nonmembers tickets as opposed to the drop down menu that is usually there for them to purchase member tickets. |
Do you mean a ticket quantity selector drop down? There should not be any drop down menus unless that was something built custom. Can you post to a link to an event that has member only tickets so we can take a look? It will also help if we can get a temporary log in as well, and you can send the temporary log in by means of the secure form on this page: |

https://www.185kingst.com/events/123-intimate-solo-concert-sierra-hull-2/ login: testuser You will see drop down menus for couples member tickets and nonmember tickets. New users can see both, it’s the members that have been using it for awhile that are no longer given the member options only nonmember.. |
That’s probably an issue with those user accounts’ capabilities. For example, the testuser account that you set up has access to the Member Couple ticket, but does not have the access to the Member Single ticket. You’ll need to make sure that you either add the relevant capability to the member account, or use a capability in the ticket editor that the current member accounts have. |
