Hey Guys – I am perplexed. We have events running and the promo codes are working for 80% of the attendees, but I am getting a lot of abandoned tickets because it is not working consistently? Check the image here https://www.dropbox.com/s/2s9kkeqic9lcyz5/EE_not_applying_Promo_Code2.png?dl=0

Maybe I don’t have it set right for 10 off for multiple tickets – is there a setting for that or is it just taking $10 off per order.

Hi there,

The promotion code is working as expected, currently promotions apply to events as a whole meaning if you have a promotion code for $10 off that’s $10 per event that promotion applies to rather than the qty of tickets for that event.

We do not have an option to apply promotions per ticket at this time, it is planned for a future version of the promotions add-on.

So can I process the payment manually for less an refund the balance then?

You can’t refund the difference as it will throw the calculations off, you would need to apply a ‘payment’ to bring the amount owing down the to the correct amount.

Or, what you may be better doing here is creating a promotion code that you (the admin) can apply to the transaction to remove the desired amount from the transaction as a fixed discount.

Is the promotion you applied above set to be ‘exclusive’?
