I’ve a problem with paypal payment processing. When a user signs up for an event sometimes it would process the transaction through paypal and sometimes it wouldn’t. The user gets the confirmation, but they are not charged for the same.
Another problem is with the thank you page. When the user is redirected from the paypal back to the website the payment status shows incomplete.
Registration confirmation emails are separate from Payments. You can set them not to be sent until payment is made using the option within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Email Settings.
‘Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received’
Set that to No and update the settings.
Registrations confirmation emails will then only be sent once payment is made.
Regarding the thank-you page showing Incomplete, within Event Espresso were those registrations actually complete? (Showing as paid) but the attendee is shown incomplete?
