I am using EE to sell online courses that are presented in LearnDash plugin
Since earlier this year I have noticed when a person registers 2 or more people in the same transaction, a problem occurs with setting up their user account and access. Prior to this it all seemed to go smoothly.
For example, yesterday a person registered and paid for two students in the same transaction;
Reg #1208 received email to set their password but no courses were assigned
Reg #1209 did not receive email to set their password but courses were assigned
As you would expect, both should have rec’d their password reset and access rights.
For individual registrations all goes correctly.
Any suggestions on what could be causing this glitch?
I am using:
EE Version 4.10.10
EE WP Users (EE4.6+) Version 2.0.17.
LearnDash LMS Version 3.3.0.3
LearnDash LMS – Event Espresso Version 1.1.0
plus other EE & LD plugins
plus
WP Version 5.6.2
WP Mail SMTP Pro Version 2.6.0

Hi there,
Event Espresso (and the LearnDash’s EE add-on) only creates user accounts/course access for the Primary Registrant by default.
I remembered you’d asked about this previously so checked your previous threads and found see THIS. The function linked to in that thread tells Event Espresso to create a user account for each registrant, but the LearnDash add-on still won’t ‘enrol’ those users unless you’d also added some additional code?
So, starting with users accounts, do you still have the above code active on your site?

Hi Tony,
Yes, the code is still there and activated.
It is creating the users but not access rights for them.
Any suggestions?

Hi John,
It’s the LearnDash add-on that is specifically assigning the first/primary registrant from the group to the LD course, it will need to be updated to work with multiple users/registrations.
LearnDash created that add-on themselves so you’ll need to contact them to update this.
