We are setting up our site and when someone purchases a ticket, the email sends with a link to their printable tickets but its blank when the page loads. Example: https://gaversfdn2022.flywheelsites.com/?ee=ee-txn-tickets-approved-url&token=1-4d7b618f35291ea7b45354cad814d33a We have the Ticketing plugin installed. One other question, if someone buys 6 tickets. It gets sent to them in separate emails. Can we just have one email send to the attendee with a link to all of the barcode printable tickets? |

Hi there
If you go to Event Espresso -> Registrations and click the icon to open the tickets using the admin link for a registration, does it work then? Any security plugins enabled on the site? Are all of the registrations on the event set to be Approved?
Do you mean the ticket notice email? If so you can switch to using the ‘Primary Registrant’ context and disabled the Registrant on, EE will then only send a single email to the ‘primary’ registrant. Event Espresso -> Messages -> Defautl messages templates (or Custom if using a custom template) -> Ticket notice. Click on ‘Edit Primary Registrant’ for that message template (it will likey be grey/disabled). In the ‘To’ field use Make sure the toggle switch at the top is set to be active and save. Now switch to Registrant by selecting that context in the dropdown at the top and clicking ‘Switch Recipient’. Now you’ll be editing the Registrant email, click the green toggle switch to disable it and save. Se: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/messages-system-working-with-message-contexts/ Retest a registration does it work how you want now? |

Our ticket link now works. This was a configuration on my end. I had the HTML ticket email inactive. I just turned off the registrant email but kept the primary registrant one active as you mentioned. When I place an order for multiple tickets I dont seem to receive the email but if I place an order for 1 ticket I get the email. I looked at the messages and I can see there it says the emails went out to me. Im not sure if you have any idea why that would be. Hopefully my last issue before we can get our site closer to launch is around multi events and email messages. We have two different events. One is for sponsorship packages that they can buy “tickets” for. The other is for the actual music event to buy entry tickets. Both of these events have their own unique confirmation emails with information about the event or their sponsorship package. However, if someone buys an entry ticket and a sponsorship package, it doesnt send the registration approval email for example from both events. Instead it seems to just pick to send the event ticket approval message. How do we fix that so if they buy both they get both the appropriate emails? I hope that makes sense. |

Ahh, ok, yeah that’ll do it. Glad you found it.
This for the ticket notice email? If it shows as sent in EE then it may be in your spam folder, which email service? Gmail sometimes filters some of them into the promotions tab.
Currently, you cant. When you use the Multi Event Registration add-on Event Espresso will use the default message template for multiple events and will only send one email. The system was designed that way due to feedback from EE3 and early EE4 users complaining about the number of emails sent during registration. It’s currently not possible to force EE to send individual custom emails for each event with MER. |

My one test email service is Outlook.com/Hotmail. Ill test on a few different platforms there. Nothing in spam.
Darn. Okay, thanks |

Who/What is the site set to send the emails through? |
|
Right now the emails are just sending through the host (flywheel). No smtp plugin setup for a custom mail server. Regarding confirmation emails, it seems like i can maybe solve my issue by making a custom email for the entry ticket even, another custom email for the sponsor package, and then update the default confirmation email to include information i want to show if someone purchases both a entry ticket and sponsor package. My question is, is there a way to only issue them the tickets (barcode, qr etc) for the entry tickets, not for the sponsorship package tickets when the checkout and buy both? I hope that makes sense. |

That will mean that anyone who registers for multiple events on the site will receive that email, are you only running those 2 events?
Not currently no, message types (such as the printable tickets) are assigned on a per event basis, anyone that registers for the event will receive the same ticket template. So is the sponsorship more of an add-on item? If so you could use a 3rd party add-on called the price modifier add-on for it: https://aparnascodex.com/downloads/price-modifier-for-event-espresso-4/ That basically allows you to create question that have a value, if the question is selected on the registration the value is added to the transaction to pay with the registration, does that sound like it will work for you? |
