Hi,
We just got upgraded EE to the lates version EE 4.9.16 yestarday.
How to prevent duplications that one user is allowd to register for dame event many times.
It creates a problem as other users (there is a limit) are not able to register.
Can we use email and name as restrictions to prevent duplications.
Where I can find exactly the pre-approval feature available in the Event Espresso General Settings as an option.

While you would not be able to use email and name as a way to restrict registrations and prevent the same person from registering for an event twice, you can set the Default Registration Status to “Not Approved”. You set that right within the Event Editor under “Event Options”.

Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event: 1
What does it mean and how this would prevent multiple registration

Oh I see under Default Registration Status to change from Pending Payments to Not Approved
BUt, how this prevent user to register few times using same email and name???

They’ll still be able to register more than once, but their registrations will not be approved, and you now have the ability to set only one of their registrations to Approved.
Conversely, you can set Pending Payment and Approved registrations to Not Approved.
