Pre-Sale tickets

Is there a way to have a pre-sale for an event and only allow a small group to register for tickets? If so, how do you use it?

You could use the WP User Integration add-on to close the event to all but registered members, then you would need to go into the event on the date when you want to open it up to everyone and change it to allow all users to register. If you want to restrict it to paid members vs free members, you can use the S2 integration add-on as well.
