Hi, I would like to pre-print some tickets so I can sell them physically prior to the events. What is the best way to do this? Do I have to integrate the barcode and qr code manually into our custom design tickets? If so is there a way to generate batch ticket with barcode and qr code? Please advise. Thanks.
The barcodes (including qr) are generated from the registrations, so in order to create scanable tickets you need to create registrations for the tickets.
before going into details, are you designing a custom ticket design within Event Espresso or something else?
If you wanting to print tickets using another service each ticket will need one of the barcodes generated by EE (they are unique for each registration). However you can use EE to generate custom tickets and then just print those directly, it depends on the kind of design your using and if that can be implemented within EE.
If so is there a way to generate batch ticket with barcode and qr code?
You can create groups of registration from within the front-end or admin, those registration just need to be set to ‘Approved’ for them to be scanned and checked in using the app.
