Hi
Already read:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/are-you-having-trouble-after-updating-to-wordpress-4-5-please-read-this-first/

I’ve updated all plugins, theme, and WP core.

I’ve disabled all plugins, no change.

Getting this message:
An error has occurred:
First Name is a required value.

parent theme Genesis Version: 2.2.7
child theme: Awaken Version: 1.2.6 –
ZigZag Press http://www.zigzagpress.com/

My apologies if you sent an update and I missed it. If you did not send an update re: this issue it would have been very helpful.

Hello,

Thanks for letting us know what you have already tried. That definitely helps speed up troubleshooting.

I had a look at the registration checkout page and I did not see any errors which is usually what breaks checkout. The other idea is caching but I did not see a caching comment in the page source which can be shown when a caching service is running.

Did you already update Genesis and the child theme since yesterday?

You might try clearing your browser’s cache. The form works fine for me.

And thanks for reading the ticket.

Ugh. It is working now. I don’t know what was going on last night. I’m pretty vigilant with regard to using the browser extensions to clear the cache every time and use multiple browsers and well as close them completely in between tests/changes.

The only thing I can think is something got caught in the router cache. I’ve had that happen only two other times in 8 years, but maybe it cleared overnight.

thanks for you time sorry for the bother
