I am getting the same internal zend error that has been reported by others in the past. I changed line 31 of pue-client.php to this:

if ( !class_exists('PluginUpdateEngineChecker', false) ):

My WP admin pages now load just fine.

Here is the original error:

PHP Fatal error: Internal Zend error – Missing class information for in /var/www/vhosts/redacted/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/class/pue/pue-client.php on line 41

Oops, I guess it didn’t fix the issue. It’s still failing on line 41.

This problem arose out of the blue yesterday. Are there any other suggestions for fixing this?

Here is what is says at the bottom of the page in my admin section:

Event Registration and Ticketing Powered by Event Espresso – 3.1.29.1P

Thanks,

Hi Jared,

In this case, you can try disabling the auto update feature by editing line 40 of espresso.php and set it to false to see if you can run the plugin.

I’m not sure whether there is much else we can do for this specific server set up. I’ll check in with the plugin update engine developer to see if there is anything else that can be trouble shot.
