That’s actually a WordPress site-wide setting where you added the /blog/ to the permalink structure, so it’s not really a conflict, it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. What you can do instead is use a plugin to set the permalink structure for blog posts only, and set the default structure to use only %postname%. This will allow all other post types to use the default structure without the /blog/.
