Prints out from PDF download BUT Image not found: The Winnetka Club Thank you for your help. |
Hi there, Looks like your site was set up using EE4 Decaf so your message templates were creating using the decaf directory, I’m guessing as you have a license you now have regular EE4 installed. Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Receipt. If you haven’t edited the template at all you can click on the ‘Reset templates’ button in that template to fix the problem. (EE will recreate the template using the current plugins directory). If you have edited the template you’ll need to manually update the links. Search for ‘event-espresso-decaf’ in the template and update any instances to ‘event-espresso-core-reg’, then save the template. |

BINGO! Thanks, Tony – freaky fast customer support – followed your instructions. Now I need to add the club’s logo, point me in the right direction…? Cheers |
Hmm, it depends on exactly what you mean really but if you set your company logo within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Company logo EE will display on your invoice and receipt. You can set a specific log to be used only by the Invoices if you don’t want to use the same logo/file as set above, you do that in: Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Invoice (activate it if its not active) -> Logo Image |

thx for the logo help Tony. I now see that the images are included just fine when I click “View Full Order Confirmation Receipt” but the problem/issue returns when I click the button to Download PDF. If I DO NOT click DOWNLOAD PDF button I can right click mouse & print the “Order Confirmation” I am viewing and save as PDF and the images are preserved BUT when I click the Event Espresso “Download PDF” button the PDF generated = Image not found, again. I do not expect all customers to right click and print as PDF when they have a Button to click and it should generate the same PDF. There’s a few reasons that can happen. Starting with the easiest to fix, do you have iThemes Security enabled? If so disable the “Enable Hackrepair Blacklist” feature. (Note that any other security plugin can have a similar feature). Another cause is if allow_url_fopen has been disabled on the server, DOMPDF (which we use to generate the PDF’s) requires it is enabled. You will usually see a difference between the HTML and PDF version of the Invoice (not just the images but the layout) if this is the case as then DOMPDF can’t open the CSS files either. Can you link me to a test invoice I can view? |

Hey Tony, 1. ithemes disabled “Enable Hackrepair Blacklist” |
I can’t open your site – https://monosnap.com/file/CckL5ctT8e7WgIjIdaLf9MP69jvs2x Do you restrict access to specific countries? I’m in the UK. |
Tony, No you certainly cannot access the site. I think that is a remnant from the 18th century. All kidding aside – I’ll change that so UK is not blocked. Please give it another go. Thanks, |
Lol, unfortunately it’s still the same. |
still blocked you mean? i even whitelisted your IP 77.x.x.x |
ok, deactivated the other plugin that was active as well sorry bout that |
Hmmm ok, it’s the same issue as if allow_url_fopen was disabled, the styles aren’t loading either. Can you add this snippet to your wp-config.php file? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#wpdebug |
done |
No errors logged so I can’t see anything. Can you send me login and FTP details using this form? |
all set Tony – form submitted |
I’m not sure which phpinfo file you checked, but allow_url_fopen was disabled on your site. Within the php.ini file in root there is |

Thank you for your perseverance Tony. |
