Our site recently received an update to EE from a backdated version and since the update we have noticed a couple of issues. The most important is that we see an error stating that our PAYPAL STANDARD payment option is showing a message that it is deprecated but there is also some info that states if we want to continue to use this gateway, we should click on the Hyperlink within the message that says something along the lines of click her for instructions on how to continue using PAYPAL Standard. Since these recent upgrades we have experienced a slew of phantom problems and are a bit hesitant to click the link for fear of BREAKING our payment processing options. To be clear, payments are continuing to come through Paypal, but we are not getting any of the email notifications of the event sale or the paypal payment, we have to manually go through to verify these have occurred. Can someone provide me with some details of what that message link actually does and if it is all INFORMATION only and does not perform any tasks againt the current site without confirmations or at least allows the ability to back out if not sure… Any guidance will be helpful.
