We are running the latest versions of EE3 and completing testing of our new site.
We have set up a paypal sandbox account and set up the autoreturn to the Thank you Page. The test registration goes through, debug information sent on and everything works but we never get back to the Thank you Page. I read the support forum and in some posts it says that you can go through and in others that in the sandbox as long as you get confirmations && attendee counts are updated everything works. Is that the case. We would like to make sure everything works before we go live.
Thanks – We have the auto-return set up and the IPN setup on the sandbox. However slow the sandbox is it looks like it tries to return but doesn’t. I can’t test it on the live site as I have a production system with different configurations running there and can’t set it up to redirect to the test site. Any other suggestions for testing?
To clarify, the sandbox does not return you automatically.
You would need to click the return link if the auto-return option is not setup. The auto-return is an additional setting.
What happens right after a purchase on the PayPal sandbox? Are you seeing it attempt to route you back to your site?
