That error is generated by PayPal and is related to your PayPal Account.
That error is shown when you are trying to use PayPal Pro from a country that does not support it. PayPal pro is currently only supported within the UK, US and CA.
What is the best payment gateway to use for European customers? Is there a way of forcing the checkout to be made without a paypal account? I know you can opt for this, but can you make this the default option?
I’m pretty sure PayPal does not allow forcing payments to be made without a PayPal account when you use PayPal standard, but you can ask PayPal to verify this. We have other payment methods listed here:
